    250 small and medium-sized enterprises are to receive support for export activities. Warsaw and 39 neighbouring communes will allot PLN 30 million for the project Grow with Greater Warsaw. Entrepreneurs representing five leading industries will participate in training courses, international trade fairs, trade missions and study visits.

    On Thursday, 17th November, during the meeting of the Warsaw City Council, day nursery No. 55 will be established. This means that in January 2017, a new day nursery will be opened on S. Fiszera Street in Rembertów, ready to take in 150 children.

    On 4 November, the first municipal ice rink was opened! The indoor ice rink will operate within the OSiR [Sports and Leisure Centre] Targówek facilities, at Łabiszyńska 20. Subsequent rinks will be successively commissioned until mid December. During the 2016/2017 season, there will be sixteen municipal ice rinks available.

    A more-than-300-metre-long crossing has connected pedestrian and bicycle paths situated along the Vistula. Warsaw residents can now freely travel along the 18-kilometre distance from Łazienkowski Bridge to the boundaries of Jabłonna.

    Thanks, awards and Brazilian samba. The official Varsovian Olympians Gala has taken place at the Starzyński Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science. Nearly 90 athletes were awarded diplomas of merit in recognition of their achievements during the Olympic Games in Rio by the Mayor of Warsaw and the Chairperson of the City Council.

    The City of Warsaw has signed an agreement with a contractor for building a hospital providing room for 309 patients, which is to be built on the corner of Rtm. Pileckiego and Indiry Gandhi Streets. It is intended to serve the residents of the southern districts, i.e. Ursynów and Wilanów, but the residents of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship will also be treated there.
