The largest tennis tournament in Poland will take place in the last week of July. The City of Warsaw will host BNP Paribas Poland Open. Tickets are scheduled to be sold in mid-May.

The second edition of the BNP Paribas Poland Open 2022 will be held on 25-31 July at the Legia courts in Warsaw Tennis & Golf. The change of location to a well-connected capital city will make it easier for tennis fans to get to the courts and admire the players from the main WTA 250 ranked series.

The tournament is a complex undertaking, so moving the organisation to Warsaw is very convenient for us in terms of economics and organisation. Moreover, the Capital City of Warsaw and Legia Tennis & Golf are planning modernisations, which go hand in hand with our vision of the tournament’s development. We have a license for a few more years, so we have to think about the tournament from a long-term perspective and implement a long-term strategy, says Paulina Wójtowicz, Iga Świątek's manager and the owner of the BNP Paribas Poland Open tournament license.

It is a great honour for Warsaw to host an excellent tennis festival. It will be a unique opportunity to see Iga Świątek, the world's best female tennis player, playing at home. Emotions will run high, but there will also be plenty of fun. Together with the organisers, we’ll prepare many attractions for the inhabitants and tennis fans. I’d like to invite you to the Legia tennis courts in Warsaw for the last week of July," said Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw.
