Despite the cold weather, on Nov.11 one thousand people came to the Royal Route to enjoy the parade, which on the Independence Day passed along Krakowskie Przedmieście Avenue and Nowy Świat Street.

After the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, attended by the President of Poland, Mr. Bronisław Komorowski, the parade sailed down the Pilsudski Square headed by the military orchestra and all representatives of Polish Army.

Parade reached the Museum of Polish Army, where the exhibition "Touch of Independence" was exposed. There was also the concert of Chopin music in the tent at the Museum’s courtyard.

The greatest interest among young people aroused Check Point brought from Iraq. Under the supervision of the soldiers children had the occasion to sit in the military vehicles and touch all equipment exposed.
