The 21st Fair of Tourism and Recreation LATO 2016 takes place from 22 to 24 April. The event gives a chance for the visitors to find an interesting offer for a short or long holiday. The Trade Fair is held under the patronage of the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw.
The LATO Trade Fair is mainly visited by Varsovians and residents of the Mazovia Region who are looking for inspiration for a weekend getaway, summer holiday destination or an opportunity for active recreation. Every year the fair trade is visited by families with children and people enjoying solo trips, as well as those preferring package tours.
Attractions for visitors
The organiser of the LATO Trade Fair, MT Targi Polska, assures us that the trade-fair weekend is full of attractions for Clients of every age. The upcoming edition of the trade fair will have two separate themes. The first one will be dedicated to the youngest visitors – a fairyland with fairytale characters and merry games. The second one, on the other hand, will be perfect for enthusiasts of active holidays. It will be devoted to the promotion of bicycle and kayak touring and rope-course parks. The attractions also include photography workshops and a meeting with travellers allowing the visitors to discuss travelling, ask for advice or simply find inspiration.
Performances by dancers and vocalists, as well as sports shows, will be held on the stage. Numerous competitions with prizes, organised by individual exhibitors and the organiser, constitute another incentive to visit the trade fair. The 5th Fair of Traditional and Regional Products – Regionalia, and the 4th Agrotourism Fair, will take place at the same time as the LATO Trade Fair. These events give the visitors an opportunity to discover organic and original products, taste regional delicacies and alcoholic beverages from different parts of Poland, and also find a place to enjoy themselves close to nature.
The events will be held in the MT Polska Congress Centre at ul. Marsa 56/62.
