On 26th May, a café located in a pavilion at Jana Karskiego Boulevard has initiated its activity. Apart from having a cup of coffee, the visitors of the pavilion will have the chance to learn about Warsaw's tourist attractions and use the opportunity to take part in special cultural events.

The tenants of the pavilion will not only serve coffee,” asserts Michał Olszewski, Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, “we will require much more than that from them. Because of the location and the nature of the place, they will be responsible for arranging cultural events and providing comprehensive information on the capital city’s tourist attractions. Providing information on the events organised at the Vistula river and in its immediate surroundings is also of particular importance.”

The Green Caffé Nero company is the winner of the tender for the lease of the pavilion at Jana Karskiego Boulevard. As the company's representative states, the activities at the riverbank promenade are something more than just running a food establishment. The café will host a number of events encouraging Warsaw residents to expand their knowledge of history and culture, to take up various forms of activity and to lead healthier lifestyles.

Green Caffé Nero at the Vistula riverside boulevard will organise both special-occasion events and recurring events. All of these will be open to everyone and are free of charge. The events calendar has been planned in such a way so that subject-specific meetings could be organised in the café all year round on most days of the week (Monday to Friday).
