On 3 Oct. one of the most popular running events in Poland was held in Warsaw.

At the start of this year's Run Warsaw there were more than 9,000 runners standing on the line and nearly 5,000 walkers supporting those who decided to run.

Run Warsaw was combined with the World Walking Day. This sport event was attended by nearly 14 thousand people. It was the largest event of its kind in the Central and Eastern Europe.

The best runner on the 10 km route was Tola Bane (Ethiopia) with time 28.46 min. set up a new record. Among women Iwona Lewandowska was the best, who run the route at the time 35:14.
