Over 42 million PLN – Warsaw for non-governmental organisations

Warsaw supports the cultural activities of non-governmental organisations, especially in long-term projects. The first major contests for NGOs are starting this year: the Social Cultural Institution and the Permanent Cultural Programme.

Social Cultural Institution

The Social Cultural Institution programme is run by the Capital City of Warsaw in the form of an open contest for the implementation of public tasks by non-governmental organizations in the field of culture.

Its aim is to create a new type of institutions whose formula of action and substantive program is developed by community workers, organizers and authors associated with the non-governmental sector. The programme is intended to bring together different artistic and intellectual communities and to promote culture among new audiences.

In the Social Cultural Institution contest, it is possible to apply for 4-year financing, in the years 2022 – 2026. The budget amounts to a total of PLN 24,085,000. Tenders may be submitted in the Witkac system until 6 October 2022, 4:00 pm. Details can be found in the Public Information Bulletin.

Permanent Cultural Programme

The Permanent Cultural Programme contest promotes the development and regular public presentation of cultural programmes throughout the year. They are supposed to expand the cultural offer of Warsaw addressed to a specific audience, as well as encourage new audience to participate.

The budget of the Permanent Cultural Programme contest is a total of PLN 18,085,000. The subsidy is granted for a 3-year activity in the years 2022 – 2025. Tenders may be submitted in the Witkac system until 6 October 2022, 4:00 pm. Details of the contest can be found in the Public Information Bulletin.
