Admissions to Academy_Smolna#2021 are open. It is a comprehensive city-wide advisory programme addressed to Warsaw's entrepreneurs and all those planning to start business activities. Business practitioners provide business, legal and accounting support free-of-charge.
Who can apply? What is the proposal?
The admissions are open to all Warsaw residents who are planning to make their first step towards making their business idea come true, or those who need support in the growth of their company operating for a maximum of three years.
Academy_Smolna#2021 offers two forms of support for entrepreneurial Warsaw residents: individual consulting and a mentoring programme. Advisory sessions are held online. They are an opportunity to benefit from legal counselling and to learn, for example, what provisions should be included in agreements made with business partners or investors. The knowledge gained during accounting consultations will help attendees choose an appropriate form of running a company, and will provide knowledge of tax optimisation methods. Guidelines obtained during business advisory classes will facilitate company management, team building or the testing of new ideas.
How to sign in?
All those interested may register for selected consultations via the website of the Smolna Entrepreneurship Centre, www.firma.um.warszawa.pl (opens in a new window) or on the Academy_Smolna#2021 website at www.startupacademy.pl/academy-smolna (opens in a new window). While signing up for a selected type of advisory services, please provide a brief description of what you would like to work on with a selected expert or what questions you would like to ask, using the “meeting notes” section.
The organisers also prepared an “entrepreneur's test” addressed to those who wish to take part in Academy_Smolna#2021 but are unsure what type of advisory services best suits their needs. The results clearly indicate the areas where the use of a particular expert support is the most reasonable choice. The test can be found on the registration website.
