At the corner of Rtm. Pileckiego and Indiry Gandhi Streets in the Ursynów District, construction works on the new hospital are under way. The Mayor of Warsaw and representatives of the contractors symbolically started work on the construction site.

"We hereby start the works on the construction of the hospital, which I promised the Varsovians would be built” said Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Mayor of Warsaw. “It will be ready in 36 months, which is great news, especially for the residents of Ursynów and Wilanów District, whose numbers continue to grow rapidly.

The Ursynów and Wilanów District Mayors, Robert Kempa and Ludwik Rakowski respectively, who participated in the event, gave assurances that both districts would help to provide easy access by road to the hospital. Sufficient time for the completion of the construction works will be used to decongest the roads in the area.

Counting in the residents of the Wilanów District, Piaseczno County and the areas located along the planned ring road and the A2 motorway, the hospital’s potential patient pool will be 300-350 thousand people.
The construction works will be carried out by a consortium consisting of the following companies: Erbud S.A.,  Strabag Spółka  z o.o., Strabag AG and Ed. Züblin AG. The city has allotted PLN 400 million for the investment.
