British newspaper "The Sun" praises Warsaw as one of five cities in the world worth visiting for Christmas holiday. The capital city’s goodies and souvenirs recommended by the journalists will be available at Warsaw fairs and by skating rinks.
As worth trying in Warsaw, "The Sun" lists gingerbreads and mulled beer, on the other hand Christmas ornaments are a necessary item on a tourists’ souvenir list from our city. It is good to remember these hints, especially since the gingerbread and a lot of other delicacies will be available at Christmas fairs on Podwale (from 27 November to 6 January) and the National Stadium (from 28 November to 23December).
Mulled beer and wine will be available in gastronomic pavilions at skating rink in the Old Town Market and near the Palace of Culture and Science. Christmas decorations are already assembled on Trakt Królewski and many streets and plazas of Warsaw. The capital city illumination will be lit up on 5 December and it will decorate our city until the first days of February.
