Chopin Concerts at the Royal Łazienki Park

Print Link opens new window

Chopin Concerts at the Royal Łazienki Park is the oldest cyclic outdoor event in our capital. Recitals at the Frédéric Chopin Monument have been held continuously since 1959.

The past Chopin Year showed that the interest in the life and work of our piano maestro has revived, the testimony of that being, among others, the crowds of young fans of his music that gathered in the park every Sunday.

This season will also give us an opportunity to listen to outstanding interpretations of Chopin's compositions performed by eminent pianists, both Polish and foreign. We have invited, among others:  Paolo Vairo, Louis Alvanis, Eduard Stan, Joanna Różewska, Filip Wojciechowski, Marek Bracha, Sonja Pahor, Kanako Okabe.
We begin this Sunday with concerts from Maria Korecka (at 12.00 hrs.) and Tadeusz Chmielewski (at 16.00 hrs.).

We heartily invite you every Sunday from May 15 until September 25 to the Frédéric Chopin monument, at 12.00 and 16.00 hrs.

Concerts organised by: Stołeczna Estrada and the Frédéric Chopin Society
Patronage: Warsaw City Hall.
Partners: Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw
