City of Warsaw in cooperation with the National Film Archive – Iluzjon – offers a review of the best Polish films, which will be screened with English subtitles.
The review is directed to foreigners visiting Warsaw during holidays, as well as to those living and working in the capital city. Discovering the richness of Polish cinema – starting from silent movies through to the brand new productions – can be a great encouragement to have a closer look and find an interest in Polish culture.
The review is planned from August to November 2010. In August sessions are held every Friday at 8 pm in Iluzjon Cinema in the building of the National Library at 213 Niepodległości Avenue, entrance A.
Tickets: 11 PLN to be purchase at the office cinema at Iluzjon.
The project is implemented with Warsaw running for the title of European Capital of Culture 2016.
