On 1 August we will pay homage to the heroes of the Warsaw Rising. As organisers, we will endeavour to make the 77th Warsaw Rising Anniversary celebrations an event that leaves a lasting mark on the hearts of Poles.

The heroic fighting of Polish Underground State soldiers and the fierce support from Warsaw’s civilians are a testament to their supreme patriotism and dedication to defending their Homeland. As years pass by, we are realising more and more the great importance of defending Poland’s independence and sovereignty. We wish to express our gratitude to you for the effort you have put into fostering the fundamental values of peace and respect for human rights. You have set an example for us of how to love our City and fight for the dignity of all man.

For more than a year, the pandemic kept us locked at homes, limiting our contacts with others. With the mass vaccination effort, however, the situation is slowly getting better and we hope to get back to normal. On 1 August we will pay homage to the heroes of the Warsaw Rising. As organisers, we will endeavour to make the 77th Warsaw Rising Anniversary celebrations an event that leaves a lasting mark on the hearts of Poles. We will make sure that sanitary restrictions are followed and that all participants are safe during the celebrations.

I would be very pleased to see you attend the celebrations. For more details, please refer to the Programme.
